I heard extremely heavy rain outside this afternoon, and naturally assumed that the Plum Rains were here, and had decided to make an impressive entrance. A few minutes later, I looked outside.

I feel like that time early last year when I woke up and saw *snow* outside. That was a first; it almost never snows here.
